Publication Ethics

The Journal of Education Language and Innovation (JELI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity in scholarly research and its publication. JELI follows the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers to adhere to them.

Authors

Authors who submit their manuscripts to JELI should ensure that:

- Their work is original and has not been published elsewhere or is not under consideration by another journal.
- They have obtained all necessary permissions and consents for the use of any copyrighted or proprietary materials, data, or images.
- They have acknowledged all sources of funding and potential conflicts of interest related to their work.
- They have given appropriate credit to all contributors who meet the criteria for authorship and have obtained their consent for publication.
- They have reported any errors or inaccuracies in their work to the journal as soon as possible.

Reviewers

Reviewers who agree to review manuscripts for JELI should ensure that:

- They have no conflicts of interest with the authors, the manuscript, or the journal.
- They respect the confidentiality of the review process and do not disclose any information about the manuscript or the review to anyone.
- They provide constructive, objective, and unbiased feedback to the authors and the editors.
- They report any suspected misconduct or ethical issues to the editors.

Editors

Editors who handle manuscripts for JELI should ensure that:

- They treat all manuscripts fairly and impartially, without any discrimination or favoritism.
- They safeguard the confidentiality and anonymity of the authors and the reviewers.
- They select reviewers who have the appropriate expertise and no conflicts of interest with the manuscript or the journal.
- They make editorial decisions based on the quality and relevance of the manuscript, the reviewers' comments, and the journal's policies and scope.
- They respond to any complaints or appeals regarding the editorial process or the published articles.

Publishers

Publishers who support JELi should ensure that:

- They provide the necessary resources and infrastructure for the journal to operate effectively and efficiently.
- They protect the intellectual property rights and the academic freedom of the authors, the reviewers, and the editors.
- They promote the dissemination and accessibility of the journal's content to the widest possible audience.
- They comply with the ethical and legal standards and regulations of the scientific community and the society.
